The International Year of Astronomy (IYA2009) is a global celebration of astronomy and its contributions to society and culture, highlighted by the 400th anniversary of the first use of an astronomical telescope by Galileo Galilee.
Eureka High School has come up with the idea of science Exhibitions to popularize science amongst general public and create an interest amongst the students. Inter School Young Scientist’s Fair (ISYSF), a program of Eureka for Science promotion in Schools, is the Nepal's only science fair, where students have a chance to explore, discover, and innovate.
The ISYSF encourages students and schools to come up with different models and concepts to explain various concepts of science practically.
The Science Fair is an excellent opportunity for students to learn more about science as they search for answers to specific problems. It also helps to develop an understanding of the scientific method while having fun! The students are encouraged to come up with a project that would be interesting to them.
