The night will kick off at 7pm with a presentation from local astronomer Ian Cooper giving an account of the life of Galileo and in particular looking at some of the objects he observed such as Jupiter and the Galilean moons. Weather permitting we will then have telescopes out on the field to observe some of these objects. Everyone is welcome, free of charge and no bookings are required.
